I am interested in furniture design projects and in developing a deeper understanding of execution processes, including the use of 3D printers, laser cutting, and other techniques that expand practical skills and knowledge in the field.
Currently, I am participating in the development of the book "Brazilian Climates and Contemporary Architectural Recommendations," under the guidance of Professor Dr. Natália Queiroz. The project proposes the creation of a work dedicated to the study of Brazilian climates and the architectural recommendations appropriate to each climatic zone.
The proposal arises from the need to understand the classifications of the country's climatic zones, considering the technical parameters established by recent research. It is noteworthy that regions such as the semi-arid region still lack more in-depth studies on constructive solutions adapted to their thermal and environmental specificities, which highlights a gap in contemporary architectural literature and practice.
Thus, the book project aims to gather and systematize information on passive thermal comfort strategies, appropriate materials, and design guidelines focused on sustainability and energy efficiency. This work is educational and informative in nature, aimed at the academic and professional community, with the goal of strengthening technical training and encouraging a more conscious and environmentally responsible design practice.
