PÓS-GRADUANDO
Gabriela Vargas Rodrigues Msc.
PhD candidate
Architect and researcher working in the areas of User-Centered Design, Environmental Psychology, and inclusion of people with disabilities, focusing on the autonomy and empowerment of autistic youth in design processes.
Her doctoral thesis, currently being finalized, proposes a conceptual model that integrates participatory design, interdisciplinarity, and co-authorship for the development of sensitive, accessible, and inclusive residential environments.
She has developed activities that articulate theory and practice, guided by professors Carlos Nome and Renato Fonseca. These activities intertwine architecture, design, and neurodiversity, promoting reflections on the social role of design in building a more empathetic and inclusive society.
