I work in the field of design with an emphasis on processes geared towards digital fabrication, exploring how technology can enhance the design process and contribute to more adaptable and user-centered solutions. In my postgraduate studies, my research focuses on structuring and evaluating design processes geared towards digital fabrication, encompassing everything from conception and ideation to prototyping and results evaluation.
I seek to understand how parametrization can promote flexibility, customization, and efficiency in the production of furniture and elements intended for compact housing. I am part of the Models and Prototyping Laboratory (LM+P), an environment that integrates research, experimentation, and practice, where I develop activities related to teaching, digital prototyping, and the application of contemporary design methods.
In the laboratory, I participate in initiatives that articulate the use of technologies such as CNC, laser cutting, and parametric modeling, investigating their potential in both the academic field and professional practice. In general, I seek to contribute to the advancement of discussions on the design process in the digital age, understanding it as a constantly transforming field in which the integration of theory, technology, and practice is fundamental for the development of more innovative and contextualized solutions.
