Germana Rocha, PhD.

Researcher

Professor Germana Costa Rocha is an architect and urban planner, graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and holds a doctorate in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). Currently, she is an associate professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (DAU) at UFPB and a permanent faculty member of the Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PPGAU) at the same institution.


Her academic and professional work focuses on the areas of architectural design, tectonics, sustainability, materials and renewable resources, as well as collaborative technologies applied to the built environment. She leads the Research Group “Tectonics, Renewable Resources and Collaborative Technologies in the Built Environment” and coordinates the research “Tectonics and Sustainability in Architecture – TEKTONIK.AS ” at DAU/UFPB LM+P .


Germana Rocha also contributes to the training of new professionals and researchers, guiding undergraduate and graduate students in their areas of specialization.
